Pret a Manger announced in April it would be trialling a vegetarian-only store in July after sales of vegetarian items grew by double digits in 2015.
The business realised it had tapped into the growing demand for plant-based food, with vegetarian and vegan concepts gaining momentum in the UK and due to the success of its Soho pop-up, decided to keep the store permanently vegetarian with others to follow.
