At the end of February, pub operator JD Wetherspoon faced a social media storm after it decided to stop serving roasts on a Sunday. The group, whose final Sunday Club menu was served on 13 March, said the controversial move was right for the business and would allow its pubs to focus on serving a new main menu which includes the addition of gourmet burgers and deli sandwiches.
